About the Job
- Responsible for all aspects of study site monitoring including routine monitoring and close-out of clinical sites, maintenance of study files, conduct of pre-study and initiation visits; liaise with vendors; and other duties.
- Ensure the integrity of the data submitted
- Recruitment of potential investigators, preparation of EC submissions, negotiate study budgets, notifications to regulatory authorities, translation of study-related documentation.
- Co-ordinate designated clinical projects as a Local Project Coordinator and may act as a local client contact as assigned.
About You
- Ideally, a University or college degree (life science preferred)
- Have typically at least 2 years experience as a clinical monitor
- Experience in monitoring Oncology, Cardiovascular or Endocrinology studies.
- Willingness to travel between 50 – 80% of your time
- A thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

Position
The work will be varied, and the position requires excellent organisational skills, an ability to maintain good relationships with clients, sites, and colleagues, and a pro-active ‘can-do’ approach. You will be managing a number of study sites, including
- regulatory and ethics applications and updates
- management and monitoring of sites
Memberships include NZACRes and others where relevant. If you are not currently professionally certified, training and support are provided to assist you in certification.
Travel to sites around New Zealand is expected and occasional overseas travel may be required.

We are looking for an experienced CRA with 1-2 years experience to join our team. Being a CRA you will be responsible for the full clinical study spectrum including – site selection and study start up, regulatory and ethics submissions, investigator meetings, monitoring and close-out visits. This is the ideal opportunity for a CRA to develop their career long term.

- Minimum of 1-2 year’s monitoring and site management experience, preferably in cardiovascular clinical trials
