Breast Cancer Foundation NZL (BCFNZ) are now accepting applications for a new $600K Partnering for Innovation in Breast Cancer grant. This is a single grant of $600,000 (paid over 4-5 years) to support a research team that has defined a project and pathway with clear clinical potential.
BCFNZ welcome applications from research groups working in the following areas:
- detection and diagnosis
- development or trial of innovative and/or targeted treatments to improve early breast cancer survival
- extending survival for metastatic breast cancer patients
- improving clinical practice and supportive care for better patient outcomes.
Given the high value and partnership nature of this grant, BCFNZ will follow a different assessment from previous years. A shortlist of applicants will be required to present their proposal in person to BCFNZ representatives.
