May 2020, Medicines New Zealand and NZ Institute of Economic Research (Inc) have recently released a report detailing the economic value clinical trials bring to New Zealand.
NZIER was asked to determine the direct and indirect economic contribution of clinical trials to the New Zealand economy. The report The value of clinical research with modern medicines in New Zealand, Economic contribution and wide-ranging benefits is the result of this work.
